Research & Data Specialist – Consumer Electronics

Key responsibilities:
● Delivers and supports the market intelligence team in critical input and analysis of the underlying cost and sales drivers to support the strategy and business plan development processes for the India Market
● Provides in-depth analysis to the Asian and regional sales offices (RSO) and management teams of Turnover drivers with focus on controlled business:
● New consumer insights
● Sell-out analysis and targets (PLC, bargain generation and inventory optimization)
● Channel performance & assortment planning
● Pricing and management margin
● Competitor, Market and Economic analysis
● Analyses and interprets business results, tracks achievement vs. targets and proposes corrective measures
● Prepares ad-hoc analysis and presents analytical information to the regional management teams to foster decision making and to drive actions
● Perform stakeholder’s management and to interact professionally with diverse group of key decision makers
● Completing tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.

The Requirements:
● A bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Economics or in other relevant fields;
● Preferably you have 3+ years of work experience in consumer centric businesses or high growth start-ups, tech companies, consulting or business intelligence firms;
● Fundamental understanding of business development, market intelligence, consumer insight, offline and e-commerce/e-market places and are capable of driving projects to add value to the company;
● Strong analytical skills and passion for data analytics and advisory;
● Good managerial, interpersonal , communication, negotiation, people engagement skills and is a team player. Stakeholder management skills is crucial.
● Fluent in speaking and writing of English language. Knowledge of Chinese, or another language will be an added advantage.
