Business Analyst – Applications (12-24 month Contract)

Job Description:

Our Client is the 1st tier financial group, and currently looking for a talent to join its APAC Application Production Services team to manage and support its production system across equities trading business.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for equity cash, portfolio trading and derivatives trading
• Manage releases and continuous improvement of new and existing applications to the production environment
• Perform analysis and testing of new and existing applications as required
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure that issues/defects are reported, and meet business requirements/time-lines
• Work closely with other support team members across the Asia Pacific region and globally to ensure consistent service delivery and standardisation
• Focus on operational excellence and implementing essential improvements
• Build and maintain relationships with business users and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in related disciplines
• 5 years or above of relevant working experience
• Candidates with equities background is a MUST
• Experience in electronic trading & management system
• Experience working in global or local bank or finance groups
• Strong UNIX OS skills
• Strong data analysis skills, with knowledge in oracle, SQL, etc.
• Strong communication and business language skills
• Fluent in English
