Infrastructure Specialist (Cloud)

My client, an investment holding company who engages in property development, is hiring a Cloud Specialist in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for hybrid cloud architecture design and planning for new projects such as Direct Mail Services, Leasing Management System, Property Sales System, HRIS, and others.

Responsibilities

· Provide technical support and system administration on cloud platform to meet service level objectives

· Perform cloud operation task such as health check, capacity monitoring, problem solving and escalation in line with company guidelines or standard operating procedures

· Troubleshoot faults including assisting investigation and root cause analysis. Maintain track record of reported incidents and provide regular updates to IT management

· Provide performance tuning and facilitate cloud operations automation

· Perform hybrid cloud architecture design and planning for new projects

· Execution of data backup & recovery strategy, system disaster recovery and business continuity of the core systems

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or related disciplines

· 3+ years of experience in cloud operation on Alicloud, Azure and AWS

· Strong knowledge on cloud components such as elastic compute, cloud storage, networking, container, backup service, cloud native technology is preferred

· Knowledge on Infrastructure-as-a-code is advantage

· Hand-on experience on cloud scripting and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible is an advantage
