Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high quality voice service by continuously evolving our engineering stack
- Engineer new solutions and maintain existing ones
- Perform end-to-end project planning and delivery
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Deploy solutions in lab and production environments
- Create the appropriate visibility of the relevant service KPI’s
- Anticipate capacity and performance issues
- Collaborate closely with other teams as well as with external partners
- Contribute towards continuous improvement of the teams engineering standards and working methodologies
- Have successful partnerships with other departments and teams
Requirements
- Extensive engineering experience with voice services from commercial and open-source solutions
- Hands on operational and delivery experience with maintenance and implementation of solutions in live and lab environments
- Expertise in the signaling related protocols such as SIP, CAMEL, MAP, DIAMETER, SIGTRAN
- Expertise on the mobility management functions in a mobile core network and related systems (HLR/HSS, DRA, STP)
- Expertise in service design related with voice, messaging and data services
- Expertise in IMS architecture, specially with VoWiFi and VoLTE use cases
- Previously integrated voice solutions with offline and online charging systems
- Good understanding on GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G related technologies, systems and protocols
- Previous experience in automation, delivery, solution design and capacity management
- Having a degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent is a big plus
- Contributions to open-source projects is a big plus
- Experience with NFV architecture is a big plus
- Familiarity with MVNO/MVNE/MVNA architecture(s) and landscape is a big plus
- English proficiency mandatory, other languages are a plus
