We are looking for a strategic thinking – structured problem solving, root cause hypotheses developing candidate to join a reputable company.
Key responsibilities
Client facing project work will include, but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Business Case Manager and Business Case Lead on client facing engagements
- Defining the scoping and principles for the business case – the ‘case for change’, key metrics and success outcomes across quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Supporting opportunity identification, value targeting and prioritisation
- Assessing the top-down potential and size of the prize
- Appraising bottom-up initiatives
- Creating the financial business case – using inputs and assumptions, quantifying the ROI/payback, and securing the CAPEX required
- Ongoing tracking and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) / objectives and key results (OKRs)
Internal practice development and capability build, which will include:
- Supporting the methodology and training roll-out out across core Business Transformation Consultant cohort – focusing on how to define a business case, principles to follow/typical challenges, step-by-step guide to how to create and model, and example project approaches
- Scaling up capability
- Driving commercial outcomes, by supporting dedicated community meetings, key success indicators, involvement in pipeline and ongoing monitoring of success

- Flexibility to travel to, and work in, other locations is essential
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A business operational and/or financial and/or management consulting background, with experience in running technical process and quantitative analysis for financial services firms (across either Insurance, Wealth & Asset Management or Banking & Capital Markets)
- Experience of developing financial and non-financial metrics, conducting opportunity prioritisation, intake of ideas and building out roadmaps
- Some experience of baselining and designing / optimising customer channels across people, process, and technology to deploy and manage resources to deliver a winning customer experience (i.e., Sales operating model design, Marketing operating model design, and Customer Service operating model design) more effectively
