Account Director – Content Agency

Our Client, a Content Agency based in London Bridge are looking for an Account Director to lead its small but mighty Account Management team.

The role is firmly focused on the nurture, growth and development of the existing clients as well as new business opportunities.

The ideal

  • The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an agency background as an AD
  • Proven track record of growing accounts

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with clients to develop and manage briefs, whilst always maintaining strong and personable client relations.
  • Develop and nurture new relationships while being the main contact for existing clients
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to help the strategic development of accounts
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of client’s businesses to be able understand their needs so as to better service them and spy opportunities.
  • Ensure projects are always delivered on time and to budget
  • Manage client expectations and take on any feedback willingly to help further the interest of the company
  • Manage 2 Account Managers – their time, roles and responsibilities and personal development.
  • Available to assist with resourcing when required
  • Managing Account plans across all key clients
  • Update and share project plans with clients
  • Financial and strategic management of campaigns
  • Present pitches and lead on the development of new business proposals

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including building on the strong existing relationships that have been established by the business
  • Comfortable working with, presenting to and liaising with Director Level clients.
  • Ability to build team morale and lead by example.
  • Strong organisational skills – particularly around project deadlines and planning.
  • The ability to react quickly and effectively to ever changing project flows
  • Knowledge of a wide range of content types (Film, Photography, Live-Stream, Animation etc)
  • Understanding a client’s personal and professional needs so that you can best service them
