Account Director | PR & Communications Agency

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known, highly regarded PR & Communications agency. They work with the world’s biggest luxury & consumer brands like Ralph Lauren, Bacardi and Cartier to name a few.

In this role you will set the strategic direction, media outreach and client servicing of several key luxury accounts. You’ll help to drive growth through creative and strategic input in addition to managing a team.

We’re looking for someone with experience in a PR and media environment. You will have ideally helped global consumer clients to secure media coverage on TV and have a great understanding of content offerings.

About the role:

• Set the strategic direction, media outreach and client servicing of global luxury accounts
• Develop existing client activity, as well as the introduction of new clients within the sector
• Drive and own projects and campaigns from inception to execution
• Strategically input on growth and opportunities with existing clients (e.g. developing creative campaign ideas, areas where we can grow our offering and consulting on relationships and our role)
• Manage the team and develop juniors
• Manage different work streams and clients simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail

About you:

• Demonstrable experience in global & UK B2C strategy and activation for relevant clients
• Good understanding of the media landscape both in UK and globally, across traditional and non-traditional / new media channels, broadcast and online media
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels; with strong verbal communication skills, and ability to write appropriately for differing requirements (including global toolkits, proposals, press releases, case studies, etc)
• Strong relationships with a range of broadcast, digital and print journalists, nurtured over several years
• Excellent relationships with clients and have an overview of the entire account at any given time
• Energy and drive to run client campaigns and accounts – with the right mix of forward planning; insights and seamless execution and a determination to get results
