Contract Conference Producer

Contract Conference Producer | ASAP Start | 6 month contract | Outside IR35

We are looking for an experience Conference Producer to join a well known name, on a contract basis. This is initially for 6 months but also has potential for extensions and further work. We are looking for this individual to determine strategy, and the creative free-rein to innovate and take a well-established large scale events portfolio to the next level, as well as identify new areas of growth and launch potential, alone or alongside partners.

We are looking for someone to take the lead in determining strategy and shaping the future direction of large-scale industry leading events. This involves researching content, building relationships with key industry names, designing a compelling agenda and guiding content strategy to create buzz about the conference.

About the role:

• Strategic vision – the ability to grow revenues and optimise profit margins on a portfolio of prestigious events
• Innovative & creative thinking- the desire to think creatively, to innovate and to shape a product around customer needs
• Proven track record in attracting the most senior speaker faculty in any given community, as well as relevant non-industry commentators
• You will have strong commercial awareness and enjoy meeting revenue targets, creating new commercial opportunities and working very closely with commercial teams and their clients
• Experience in working across different sectors, markets and/or geographies

About you:

• 3+ years proven track record as a successful producer in the conference industry
• Experience of the Asset/ Wealth Management industry very desirable.
• Successful track record in launching new event ideas from scratch and seeing the new project through from ideation to completion
• Experience in producing and delivering on digital events and products
• Exceptional project management and organisational skills – the ability to set achievable project management goals and to ensure these goals are met
• Time management with an ability to multi-task and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills and the ability to network with senior industry figures
• Enthusiasm and a collaborative mind set
