Freelance Content Designer | ASAP start | 6 month contract | Inside IR35

An opportunity has become available for a freelance Content Designer to join a great team, within one of London’s leading digital agencies, They are looking for a digital first, Content Designer to come onboard for an initial 6 month contract, with the potential to convert to permanent after this period.

About the role:

• Design and deliver beautifully written messaging, content and copywriting, content frameworks, navigation, labelling, powerful calls to action and clear and understandable instructional copy and more for the client’s key platforms
• Ensure all content is relevant, timely, clear, concise, accessible and consistent with the bran
• Work with the client, the design team, analytics and key members of the account team to understand the key audiences for your content and their needs
• Combine your strategic awareness of brand, product and comms with user research and analytics to propose content improvements to enhance the user experience and reduce friction in the user journey
• Work with the designers on the project to give and solicit feedback and to ensure content and visual design have a strong collaborative relationship
• Look at new tools and ways of working to improve speed and efficiency of content storage, tagging and delivery
• Evanaglise the power of content design and strategy across the agency and more widely

About you

• You have a keen eye for detail and can subedit and proofread content
• A background in UX writing and digital advertising copywriting is beneficial for this
• You have worked in product orgs or client side in the same role. Agency experience is desirable but not necessary.
• You have experience of using user research, data and test and learn methodologies to make content design decisions
• You have experience of working collaboratively with designers, product people, data and senior stakeholders to provide analysis and recommendations
• You are articulate and persuasive, helping others understand the power of content design and giving them the confidence to try new ways of working
• You understand how your work fits into a wider context of supporting the client and delivering a great experience for the end user
