Design Director | Creative Consultancy | Up to £80k | Based near Uxbridge

My client is fast growing creative consultancy offering brand, product, and marketing strategy to a global set of cross-sector clients. They are looking for a Design Director to sit alongside the senior management team, taking full responsibility for the creative output of the agency. This is an opportunity for a highly driven and ambitious Senior Design Manager/Creative Group Head to make a real impact. The successful candidate will play a major role in guiding and growing the business.

Clients vary from global corporations and property developers to start-up fashion and luxury brands. They’ve already delivered work in London, New York and Hong Kong. By maintaining a lean operation in their London office, they have found success in building relationships with C-suite and Director/Owners, scaling up specialist delivery teams as and where necessary.

As the Design Director, you will be responsible for building and managing appropriate creative teams to deliver projects, working alongside the MD and Founder on pitches and developing the identity of the company. A small team, they model themselves after British Special Forces operating procedures – they maintain a high work rate and expect every member of the team to push themselves. That being said, they also work hard and play hard and it is a like-minded, creative and passionate environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Work hands on to produce pitch-winning work
• Act as brand guardian for both the business and their clients
• Identify and manage the best creative partners to support delivery of Projects
• Constantly push the level of agency output to ensure work is of the highest possible quality
• Be client facing and the key point of contact for our client’s creative work
• Build out the creative team

You:

• Ideally 10+ years agency experience with 3 or more years leading a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of branding, design, content production, digital and tech/product development
• Able to travel for work and experience of dealing with international clients
• Expert in all Adobe CC products
• Aware of commercial impact of creative work
• Happy to work in a small, highly driven team looking to achieve big things
