Design Lead

The Director of UX & Design is looking for a talented Design Lead to work across a wide range of digital projects with compelling, intuitive interfaces while managing a small design team. The successful applicant will be professional and friendly, with a can-do attitude and will quickly become a key team member also working closely with the product and development team. You will love being a hands on design lead with the ability to develop wireframes and design beautiful responsive interfaces for web and mobile devices.

You will be required to:

• Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to lead
  discoveries, establish requirements and guide projects from a user experience perspective

• Design creative solutions for a range of products

• Present work to internal departments

• Mentor and manage junior designers

• Plan and co-ordinate research, alongside UX Research

• Help to promote a progressive and creative culture within the design team itself and
  proactively demonstrate the benefits of design thinking throughout the organisation

The Right Person will be Skilled in Many of the Following:

• Minimum 4+ yrs in designing digital UX/UI products

• Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of best practice UX/UI design & web standards

• Master of the Adobe Creative Suite and Wireframing tools

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present confidently is important

• Be able to manage your time efficiently and independently

In addition to these skills, you need to be someone with a sense of humour who will be a great fit with the organisations culture and their growing, fun team.
