Head of Design – UX/UI/Art Direction

Head of Design | Virtual Reality Company | London | 3 Months

I am currently looking for a Head of Design/Creative Director to work with a Virtual Reality client in central London. As the Head of Design your responsibilities will cover creative and brand strategies, with a strong focus on UX, customer engagement, communications, content and technical capabilities across integrated, omni-channel brand and products.

To be considered for this position you must have the below experience;

• Solid experience in an agency and start-up environments
• Be passionate about telling brand stories and bringing digital products to life through engaging designs and creative strategy
• Have the ability to identify new opportunities and emerging platforms that further drive the capability of existing and up and coming products and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with CX and UX creative counterparts to gather overall art and design objectives and project requirements
  
• Serve as the strategic and creative authority on aesthetic, tone, and messaging across all platforms, brands and channels
• Pitch concepts and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
• Grow, mentor, support, and evaluate the internal design team;
• Create, oversee, and maintain documentation and deliverables for multiple stakeholders
• Source, evaluate, hire, and manage third-party design resources

Requirements

• 5 years minimum experience in a Design role in both Product and Marketing
• Experience in Ux, UI and Art Direction
• Expertise designing materials across multiple devices, sizes, and platforms
• Ability to work within platform guidelines while remaining interesting and unique
• Communicate design rationale effectively across multiple audiences
• Interest in VR, AR emerging tech and mobile
