Lead UX Designer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead UX / Product Designer to join a fast-growing health tech business 🚀

In this brand-new role, you’ll be tasked with owning the re-design for and iOS & Android app that genuinely aims to improve people’s lives 🙏

We’re looking for designers with strong UX and research skills, with UI being a plus.

About the role:

• Use design thinking to develop a user centred design approach for the mobile application platform
• Collaborate with product, tech and marketing teams to develop a UX strategy that balances user needs with business goals
• Carry out user research to create personas, user journeys and experience maps to inform design decisions
• Carry out and analyse both online and in person usability tests
• Design new customer experiences via sketches and wireframes
• Build low and high-fidelity interactive prototypes
• Build upon the design system to ensure a consistent and uniform approach

About you:

• Senior to lead level UX / product designer with a background in UX, Interaction design, graphic design or a related field
• Solid mobile app experience and understanding of both iOS and Android mobile design standards
• A love for user centred design and applying design thinking to the product design process
• Solid experience in conducting user research and usability tests
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a wide array of stakeholders
• Experience with design software such as Sketch, Figma, Invision and Adobe Creative Suite.
