Lead UX Researcher working within a digital team, focusing on UX Research/testing/information architecture, to assist in the improvement of the organisation’s multiple touch points. Looking for individuals who can produce insights that generate brilliant ideas and evaluation to designs. This position is effectively a training and mentoring role, but you will also be required to conduct and report on your own research projects.

The Role
You’ll be a Lead UX Researcher who can work closely with a collaborative UX Design team in an agile environment as well as with product owners, interaction/service designers, to create insights that can produce innovative ideas and evaluate designs. You will be working within a growing team focusing on user research and testing to assemble needs and behaviours. You will be responsible for end user testing, ensuring it is conducted at appropriate times to ensure services certify key decisions in the design.
You will be involved in a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct research where you will create behavioural specifications, personas, story flows and user journeys.
Further, this individual will be responsible supporting more junior team members in their practice of UX research methodologies, providing just enough support to ensure they are learning to do it for themselves
Skills and Experience
As an experienced Lead UX Researcher, you will have
Extensive experience in full spectrum of user research activities e.g. interviews, usability testing, tree testing, card sorting, lab studies, persona development, surveys, A/B testing
Experience with consultation, research, user testing
5+ years of working as a UX researcher preferably in agile digital teams
Experience working across quantitative and qualitative methods to gather information
Experience working in an agile environment
