Product Designer UI/UX

Design Jobs

Greater London Permanent £50000.00 - £60000.00 per annum

My client is a leader in their sector. Utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) they’re revolutionising their industry and having fun doing so.

I’m looking for an experienced UI/UX designer to be the design and strategic partner with the development team on key initiatives. You’ll be passionate about developing strategies based off insights of real people, have a mastery of your craft to turn these insights into beautifully designed products (both interactions and visuals) and inspire the organisation by showing/prototyping what is possible before it is built.

I’m looking for designers without big egos, these guys are all about collaboration and teamwork.

What you’ll do

– Lead design projects across the entire product life cycle and multiple

product launches.

– Let users lead the way. Users inform where you’re going. Teams

focus on listening to users, and letting their needs guide them to the best

solutions.

– Work with small multi-disciplinary teams. Partnering closely with

engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical

solutions to design challenges.

– Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take

responsibility for every detail, every step of the way.

– Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to

apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches

and prototypes.

Who you are

Previous industry experience as a UX Designer – UX/UI Designer / Product Designer / is a must

– You have experience designing at consumer-focused tech or media

companies; experience designing for mobile is a plus

– You are an incredible designer with amazing design chops. You’ve

shipped many consumer products over the years, and understand what

it takes to create awesome, consumer-oriented experiences.

– You get nervous if you’re not sketching concepts, tweaking flows or

polishing the designs that represent the big-thinking work. Your head is

in the clouds while your feet are on the ground.

– You have a people-focused design mentality. Even though you have

incredible chops, you are constantly looking to hone your design instinct

through user feedback. Whether through hands-on user research, or by

designing options for an A/B test.

You’ll not just be another bum on a seat in this role. You make a real impact / work in a fast paced agile environment and have fun along the way with a talented group of people in a very cool office space.
