Senior Brand Manager – FTC

Greater London Permanent Up to £65000.00 per annum

We are working on behalf a financial services company to find an experienced Senior Brand Manager who is excited at the opportunity of taking a freshly redefined brand and embedding it through a global but decentralised business through a program of education, adoption and embedding.

This is an FTC ending in October 2023.

They are looking for a confident presenter, able to engage people at all levels of the business in the value of brand and the importance of consistency, whilst recognising their desire for flexibility and autonomy. Knowing and being able to communicate what aspects of the brand world must be strictly adhered to and what can be flexed will be key. You will be instrumental in landing the brand throughout the business, via guidance, education and creating playbooks where relevant.

Your role will have multiple streams to it, and you will operate within a project team:

  • Create and execute a programme of work on Brand guidelines & Tone of Voice education to different audiences throughout the business. The level of education will vary upon audience.
  • Responsible for leading the training of ‘Brand Champions’ and ‘Super Users’ so that relevant employees are fluent in the brand principles and can carry on training their local teams for years to come.
  • Own and run a brand asset templating project, assessing branded assets used across internal and external channels globally, ranking the most commonly used and business critical assets with stakeholders, to then brief Creative to produce a suite of Key brand assets in a templatable format (PPT, .indd etc) so that the global business can benefit from best in class design. Clearly communicating to the business, brand champions and super users what templated assets are available to them and where they can find them (IE on the DAM/ Work place etc).
  • Be the point of contact for all incoming brand questions on a day to day basis, globally, working with creative where appropriate to answer more complex questions specific to design or tone of voice. Responding in a timely manner.
  • Where relevant, management of translating key business materials as decided upon by the Stakeholders, IE strategy papers etc, working with third party agencies and the global marketing community to check copy.
  • Global image rights, it is important that imagery is available across the globe, working with the Head of Brand Operations and Creative Director to assess opportunities and routes to develop and execute this ambition to drive pictorial alignment globally.
  • Lead and manage the digitisation of guidelines and associated assets, considering internal channels and portals to use to envoke excitement and to support brand understanding.
  • Supporting the Head of Brand operations and the Creative Director where appropriate to implement brand within M365 suite, globally.
  • You’ll be able to juggle the demands of your role at all times, be able to think big, and be confident in presenting to different audiences and be creative!
  • Work with the project team, including the Director of Brand Strategy, to ensure the integrity of the brand is met at each stage of the project.

You’ll have a track record as a brand manager ideally in both B2B and B2C fast-paced environments. Plus:
