Senior Product Designer

Senior/Lead Product Designer – Up to 90k base – Remote First

Salt have partnered with a leading SaaS platform looking to engage experienced Product Designers with a view to joining their growing Product & Design team and help build innovative Forex & Payments software.

Known for their best-in-class UI and UX, our client are starting to push their software platforms across multiple new customer segments and need a seasoned product designer to achieve their ambitions of becoming the global leader for Banking/Forex trading software platforms.

As a Senior/Lead product designer, you will be part of a wider team creating products which put users at the heart of the design process. Working closely with Product Owners & internal stakeholders to shape core features and strategic concepts, you will be responsible for contributing to feature design across customer self-service portals and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse and prototype with Product Owners/Engineering Leads to continually improve software features and functionality
• Wireframing, Prototyping and interaction design for desktop and mobile
• Design and brand different versions of applications UI
• Support remote and onsite development teams in product development
• Create style guides and graphical assets for development teams
• Sketch, draw and scribble through workshops, as well as being able to lead them
• Create sketches, concepts, wireframes, user journeys and navigational prototypes
• Originate UI concepts and models as well as improving existing ones
• Assist in continuous upkeep and management of design system, reviewing the implementation with the development team
• Conduct user research and testing with existing clients together with a Product Owner

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Ambition to design market-leading Foreign Exchange & Payments product(s)
• Demonstrably skilled in Interaction, UX & UI design
• Rapid prototyping experience
• Experience in bringing proven (and innovative) methods for integrating User Experience design practices into Agile software development projects
• Ability to communicate and engage stakeholders of different seniority levels
• Keen eye for detail
• Understanding of user testing, research principles and persona-based design
