UX Designer

As a UX Designer for you will be keen to find new ways of working, by taking a user centred approach to the design of features, products and services that are easy to use and loved by customers!

As a Designer you will play a key role in designing, improving and validating a variety of new experiences for customers, across all products and services – from mobile app to responsive web.

Reporting to the lead product designer, you’ll work with the wider design team across their Newport and London sites

In this role you won’t be just another bum in a seat. These guys work very collaboratively within the design and product teams as well as with the entire business. The business completely backs up the design team which will allow you to create innovative products.

What will you be responsible for as a UX Designer?

• Working closely with the product designer you will help define and put in place proper UX principals across the business
• You will assist in rolling out latest UI direction while working on existing and future thinking products other internal departments.
• You will champion UX across the business
• You’ll help define and shape our powerful design system and other toolkits with the support of the Lead Product Designer

You will bring solid 2 – 3 years UX experience and will have an excellent and in-depth understanding of the digital landscape, technologies, trends and design and its methodology. You will bring experience gained in visual design, with some front end software development experience and have assisted in researching, conceiving, sketching and prototyping concepts for digital products and services. You are well known for your excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills, you can work well under pressure, adapt to change and will thrive in an environment where you will be providing solutions and working collaboratively to do so.
