UX Researcher

As a researcher you will be expected to lead and deliver research projects to advance the brands Digital’s understanding of members.

You will be expected to be a hands-on researcher. You will lead and direct research projects and will be responsible for the scoping, shaping and approach. You will interrogate the objectives of each one and flesh out the requirements to ensure we are making the right thing the right way.

You will work closely with Product Managers, UX team, Developers, Analysts and other Researchers to discuss and prioritise projects.

The scope of projects this role may span the entire digital estate and multiple service touch points (including the companies website, mobile, branch, ATM, etc.).

Specialist fields may include:

• Usability Testing
• Survey design
• Co-creation workshops
• Running focus groups
• Depth Interviews
• Etc.

Key Accountabilities:

• Day to day accountability and responsibility for the research you are working on within your team, you will be the lead researcher. This includes:
• Quality: you will be responsible for the quality of your output so you will ensure that work is delivered to the highest levels of quality and excellence whilst adhering to the most effective working processes.
• Effectiveness: you will ensure that deliverables meet both the project’s objectives and the needs of end users.
• Work closely with the project manager (or scrum master), product owner and the design team to ensure smooth, high quality and efficient delivery of projects from inception through to delivery
• Foster strong working relationships with key teams within the Society such as Product, Member Proposition, Insight and Analytics.
• Ensure that research is at the heart of the project you are working on, that it is informative, impactful and guides design and usability in the right direction.
• Manage third party suppliers and agencies.
