I am working on a new hiring project for a globally renowned retailer. The team are looking for a true Design Technologist, or Designer/Developer.
We are looking for a Design Technologist to work on multiple product areas across the digital portfolio but with a focus on the transformation of the .com and the app.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working across the design team and an extensive design system to define digital product specifications
- Working closely with development teams to translate approved designs in to scalable and reusable design tokens
- Bringing an engineer’s pattern thinking, to systematise designs; Ultimately acting as a bridge between design and development, and increasing development effectiveness and velocity.
