Our client are building new products and services to the market to enable consumers to have an enhanced and more transparent way of applying for benefits. You will work in a team who are passionate about innovation and incubate new ways to meet the needs of of their users.

Our client works in cross functional agile teams to design and deliver products that meet the needs of their consumers to provide an exceptional customer experience with over 30 million users a year.

You will work in the digital team providing amazing customer journeys which include a team of product managers, delivery managers, data scientists and designers. You will work closely with both the technology and data teams to ensure they create a world class experience.

This newly formed team will work on innovation to build new ways to meet the needs of their users. This team will take an inventive, responsible and generous approach to its work, building on the expertise and ideas of colleagues across the network. This team have the autonomy to work openly, with a core team of innovation experts and in collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines.

This role ensures the active development and delivery of ideation, experimentation and prototyping of ideas for the future of the company. The role is responsible for leading the incubation phase of these propositions, as well as building engagement and ownership for successful scaling.

Candidates will have:

  • Experience of managing delivery of digital products and services working with multidisciplinary product teams.
  • Ability to plan and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to prioritise user needs and product plans, working within resource constraints.
  • Excellent ability to form product backlogs, responding to stakeholder influence while prioritising user-centred features.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the backlog of Product issues and tasks to ensure items are prioritised and delivered according to business needs
  • Work closely with the Product Director, Product Mgrs, Project Manager, External Dev and QA teams to make sure User stories and acceptance criteria are completed and signed off
  • Work closely with key Business stakeholders to gather, document and analyse their requirements/user stories
  • Work closely with Technical, Project and Product Leads to prioritise and clarify business and technical requirements
  • Work closely with UX/Design teams to make sure that they have a strong understanding of what they are required to do for specific tasks or projects
