I am lucky to be working with a client whose purpose is to make that decision as easy and seamless as possible. They provide comprehensive university comparisons and guides aiming to help the next generation of students find their perfect education fit. After astounding success in recent years they are looking to bring on a Digital Product Manager to accelerate their growth plans, and build out their Product Management team.

Digital Product Manager – Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritise the roadmap for a portfolio of digital products with a continued focus on the customer journey, balanced with strategic business decisions
  • Work with researchers to deeply understand, define and frame the problems and opportunities to be addressed through our products
  • Collaborate with staff from commercial, UX research and design, IT and development, marketing, SEO and content teams in thinking big, to generate innovative solutions to these problems
  • Work with designers and UX researchers to develop, prototype, test and optimise high-fidelity visuals and prototypes
  • Develop product requirements and specifications and work with project managers and development leads to develop, test and release product enhancements
  • Manage, develop and motivate a team of product managers to deliver exceptional value for users and the best work of their careers

Digital Product Manager – Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Digital focused Product Manager in a B2C environment
  • Experience leading product teams, coaching agile and lean thinking, and creating robust and repeatable product practices.
  • You live and breathe evidence-based product development and a user-first approach.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects to meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • You have an understanding of the technical architecture of complex web and mobile applications and the ability to work credibly with developers
