Freelance Product Designer needed ASAP | 3 month contract | Shoreditch | up to £350 per day

One of London’s leading fintech start ups is undergoing some major visual updates to their product and are looking for a Midweight Product Designer to assist them in their rollout. There won’t be any major updates to branding but there will be some big updates to the visual design of their digital products, and the way that users interact with them as well. This role is definitely more on the visual side of the UX/UI spectrum, so expect a lot of prototyping, producing high quality wireframes, and rehashing of user journeys.

They are looking for a UX and Product specialist with experience designing cross-platform solutions to help change they way we travel – this a great opportunity for a midweight to really step into an end-to-end role and gain some invaluable experience working alongside an award-winning UX team.

You will have experience being both a hands-on user interface designer with a solid grasp of the latest design, user interface, as well as a strong grasp on the latest user experience and research techniques. You’ll be helping to lead projects with the team as well so experience speaking with stakeholders is vital.

About the role:

  • You’ll be working on eye catching web and mobile design and user interfaces
  • Use the latest research techniques to help design features for the product that will improve conversion rates at checkout stage
  • Designing and testing ergonomic and visually attractive user interfaces
  • Using the latest user testing techniques to ensure design concepts meet the users needs
  • Working out a discreet and logical information architecture for the product

About You:

  • You will have experience working in a start up/scale up environment.
  • You want to work with the best UI and UX minds in the industry and want to be part of a team that delivers results
  • You’ve got strong UI and prototyping skills
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You can show examples where you have lead and created concepts from brief through to completion
  • You love a challenge, and turning them into workable solutions
