Picture/Product Development Assistant | Italian speaking | 5 Month contract | ASAP Start | London

An opportunity has become available at one of Salts luxury clients to support the Product Development Manager to manage the product development process for Shoes by working closely with the team of designers to develop each category from initial concept through to finished product.

The responsibilities:

• Communication to vendors
• Ensuring clear, concise and accurate data daily, particularly focused on: bill of materials – sampling and production, purchase orders and invoicing, departmental tracking documents and shipping paperwork, creation and maintenance of Visual Range Plans, budget trackers
• Ad hoc reporting analysis as required by manager
• IT Skills required – Including but not limited to, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
• Product Life cycle Management Software understanding or experience
• Delivery tracking of photos and showroom samples
• Press Sample management
• Look Book Preparation support

The correct person will be/have:

• Enjoys working in a highly pressurised environment
• Excellent influencing skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Team Player
• Conversational in Italian
• Experience in a Fashion brand
• People management experience
• Effective relationship management with the cross functional teams
• Adaptable to meet the ever changing demands of the business
