Product Manager

City of London Contract / 6 Months £450.00 - £600.00 per day

Our client is one of the most exciting and fastest growing fashion start-ups in the industry, disrupting a very niche sector and have an exciting growth plan to develop a new product and service which will ship around the world. You will have full autonomy and ownership to help build an incredible ecommerce experience, and responsible for the end-to-end success of projects from requirements definition through design, development, launch, and post-launch analysis.

Your responsibilities

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the overall product vision, crafting exceptional user experiences around the world.

Being more specific, you will:

  • Work closely and urgently with cross-functional teams to build an incredible ecommerce experience.
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end success of projects from requirements definition through design, development, launch, and post-launch analysis.
  • Manage quality assurance and testing throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality output.
  • Be an advocate for customers by understanding their journey and obstacles they experience. You are willing to get on the phone to them, arrange face-to-face sessions and generally do what it takes to understand their needs.
  • Identify new growth opportunities via quantitative & qualitative research, UX studies, and by keeping up-to-date with new tools, services and approaches.

Your experience

We firmly believe extraordinary people can come from a wide range of places – but we wouldn’t be surprised if the person who gets this role has:

  • 4+ years of product management in an early stage start-up or leading brand and the ability to demonstrate how your thinking enhanced their online experience.
  • A passion for understanding the online shopping experience in a branded environment and the ability to talk through how we leverage the best of transactional retail (e.g. Amazon) in a branded environment.
  • Great numeracy skills with complete command of Excel and the ability to manipulate large data sets with ease.
  • Experience of a range of martech applications and software that can be used to track and improve the online experience and comfort talking in detail about the pros and cons of each one.
  • Experience of and passion for working in a great team in a high-growth environment.
