Product Manager

Product manager- contract- London

Our client is a leading media business in London looking for a product manager, who are working on new innovative high profile digital projects. The key aim of this role is to ensure projects are delivered at a fast pace by managing the product backlog and directing resource. The PM will be a critical link between development and customer support and assist other team members in requirements gathering and sign off.

Responsibilities

• Manage the backlog of Product issues and tasks to ensure items are prioritised and delivered according to business needs
• Act as conduit between Customer Support, Dev and CRM teams to ensure critical live service issues are identified and managed
• Work closely with the Product Director, Product Mgrs, Project Manager, External Dev and QA teams to make sure User stories and acceptance criteria are completed and signed off
• Work closely with key Business stakeholders to gather, document and analyse their requirements/user stories
• Work closely with Technical, Project and Product Leads to prioritise and clarify business and technical requirements
• Work closely with UX/Design teams to make sure that they have a strong understanding of what they are required to do for specific tasks or projects
• Analyse and interpret KPI data to pull out key areas of improvement required

Experience in:

• Backlog creation and prioritisation (using Jira)
• Applying Agile Delivery methodologies
• Product, Business or Systems Analysis
• Video Streaming Technologies
• E-commerce and Fraud Management tools
• Creating User stories and writing Acceptance Criteria
• Experience in using Analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Omniture
• Driving a Data Driven decision making process
• Understanding basics of Web, iOS and Android OS/delivery as minimum
• Working collaboratively with 3rd Party development vendors
• CMS and CRM systems desirable but not mandatory
