Product Owner (Digital)

One of the largest global retail, cosmetic and skincare conglomerates are in a period of significant digital transformations, and they are looking for a Product Owner (Digital) to join them on this journey. Sitting in the Digital division you will own digital product(s) and be responsible for prioritising and maintaining their backlog. As part of a project team,you will work with the wider Product team and own the delivery of high quality, customer-led digital products. A key focus for this team is around the ecommerce website, and their CRM.

Product Owner (Digital) Responsibilities

  • Launch new digital products and enhance existing ones, taking ownership of them and be responsible for prioritising and maintaining their backlog.
  • Deliver against and support the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product(s).
  • Deeply understand customer needs and gather requirements from stakeholders.
  • Brief stakeholders and senior management on the product roadmap, and associated deliverables, to ensure cross function alignment.
  • Continuously monitor customer needs, market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes to ensure the product remains a category leader.
  • Manage product feature prioritisation; ensuring stakeholders understand the compromises and constraints.
  • Manage product user journey design, ensuring a high quality customer experience.
  • Document processes and training materials to assist with successful launch and business adoption of the product(s) or new feature(s).

Product Owner (Digital) Requirements

  • Experience as a Product Owner with a focus on digital/ eCommerce/ CRM
  • Retail/consumer facing experience or experience working in a technology company or agency environment
  • Confident prioritising and maintaining product backlogs
  • Able to own product roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and CRM analytics, with a focus on being very data driven
  • Experience dealing with various external and internal stakeholders
  • Work experience within a matrix and/or global environment.
  • Agile working
