Product Owner- Mobile Apps

Product owner- iOS- London- £400-450.00 per day

Our client is an award-winning E-Commerce business and are leading travel booking service specialising in the world’s most prestige hotels around the globe, they are looking for a product owner for the delivery of their new iOS app. You will be responsible for driving an in-house UI and UX team to provide an external team with the necessary designs and prototypes to build the App remotely.

You will be a part of the key leadership team supported by the Chief Technical Officer and Head of Development, acting as the main interface within the product team to the key stakeholders in the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end to end product lifecycle of the new iOS native App
• Manage and coordinate the in-house UX and UI Designers to create a user centric,

fluid and intuitive App experience

• Crafting of detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria based on the

business requirements

• Manage the external build of the App by a team of developers based offshore
• Run user testing and support the internal QA of the App
• Effectively communicate progress and challenges to all stakeholders involved during

the process

• Involvement in some conversion tasks of the main website as per the Tech roadmap,

managing the Design team and in-house front end development team

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years product management experience in SCRUM practices and

agile methodologies, leading and delivering multi-channel products in eCommerce

• Experience in the development of iOS mobile apps, from concept to running

workshops, user testing, managing build, through to launching live to customer

• In depth experience working with customers, business stakeholders and

multidisciplinary teams across the full product lifecycle

• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a

fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills
• Previous experience in the travel industry is a big plus
