Product owner- Payments- Contract- £500-600 per day

Our client is a fast growing fin-tech launching their next generation of payment products and services to provide a world class services so SMEs across the UK. The role:

In this role you will be working on the define, build and manage the in-store integrated payments and e-commerce solutions, therefore you a good understanding of e-commerce gateways and what they do.

You will also provide analysis to support decision making on how they specify, support and take to market their technology product development, for gateway and online payments.

You will work closely with Product Management and Business Stakeholders to understand, articulate and communicate vision and value.

You will champion their vision and an advocate of their working principles in your interactions with business units across the wider organisation.

You’ll take ownership of products and services from a delivery perspective, work closely with Agile delivery squads and define acceptance criteria and BDD specifications.

Working closely with the directors, the Product Owner will manage this process and prioritise the team’s workload within an Agile framework. You will be expected to provide them with regular status updates and commercial release notes that the wider business community can easily understand and adopt.

You’ll need a strong and confident personality to manage and engage end users across the business, acting as the critical meeting link between technology and the wider business. This role operates with autonomy and responsibility in a deadline driven function, so you’ll need to match these demands with consistent focus and intensity.

Experience Required:

You will have product ownership and business analysis experience, end to end project life-cycle knowledge and experience with high quality documentation.

They will want you to demonstrate deep knowledge of Agile and you will have experience with requirements analysis and elicitation.

You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence to challenge others in the right way.

You’ll have the ability to manage a demanding workload, handle conflicting priorities and ideally have Fin-Tech or payments industry knowledge.
