Senior Product Owner (Digital)

One of the largest global retail, cosmetic and skincare conglomerates are in a period of significant digital transformations, and they are looking for a Senior Product Owner (Digital) to join them on this journey. Sitting in the Digital division you will work with all functions of the business as well as directly with teams to build best in class Digital Products and services, aiming to continually improve customer experience, efficiencies and create new ways to drive profitable growth. You will manage the roadmap for our global digital products and solutions that will range from eCommerce platforms to digital marketing technology stack and CRM/loyalty technologies.

Product Owner (Digital) Responsibilities

• Be acountable for shaping and managing roadmaps for a portfolio of digital products from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• Engage with business stakeholders to cover the strategic aspects of product development, including product vision definition, roadmap creation and business case creation
• Working closely with stakeholders to integrate digital roadmap with business strategy and considering business benefits and feasibility.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, pilots and prototyping.
• Ability to remain hands on whilst still taking leadership and senior responsibilities
• Responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of new digital products or enhancements.
• Manage products owners and their delivery, as well as deliver own discrete initiatives from the digital roadmap.
• Collaborate with internal (IT, International Digital and Market teams) and external stakeholders (technology suppliers) to ensure timely rollout of product roadmap.
• Ensure commercial viability is at the forefront of decisions for all new product delivery and execution
• Establish KPI reporting to monitor the effectiveness of the product development and track business case realisation
• Governance of the new digital product and continuous improvement process.

Product Owner (Digital) Requirements

• Extensive experience as either a Product Manager or as Product Owner with a strong focus on Digital Products.
• Proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership of digital products and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
• Retail experience is preferred however not essential.
• Products delivered should include eCommerce and CRM/loyalty.
• Blend of business, technical and management skills, with understanding of customer experience and marketing.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Solid technology understanding; ability to communicate effectively with the delivery team and communicate clearly back to business stakeholders.
• Experience with working in a matrix or complex global environment.
