An award-winning creative agency working within the art and entertainment industry have an opportunity for a driven Studio Manager to join their ever-growing team.
They create experiences for live music tours, festivals, art installations, experiential spaces, branding campaigns and theatrical productions.
The studio’s expertise comprises multimedia content production, stage, lighting & set design, and the creation of interactive & mixed-reality environments, allowing for a seamless production and creative experience.
Reporting to Head of Production
Location: London bridge
Responsibilities include:
- Receptionist duties – answering calls, fielding appropriately, and taking accurate messages
- Meet and greet visitors, including escorting them to our offices
- General studio support and office admin – data entry, maintaining records, scanning, photocopying, filing
- Use a range of software, including e-mail, spreadsheets and databases to ensure the efficient running of the studio.
- Co-ordinate studio deliveries and distribute mail
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Organising studio when needed
- Assist colleagues in ways that optimise procedures
- Implement procedures that improve the running of the studio
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments as required – co-ordinating diaries, travel and accommodation
- Process invoices and manage office petty cash spending
- Monitor studio level of supplies and handle shortages – groceries, stationery, office equipment, covid supplies
- Look after building maintenance and facilities – health & safety, building security, fire safety
- Being the first person of contact for any issues with equipment or maintenance – resolving studio-related malfunctions and booking repair & maintenance as needed
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Organise gifting and catering for birthdays, new starters, leavers, Christmas etc
- Support with HR admin and recruitment and onboarding new starters – keeping personnel records up to date
- Manage holiday bookings and logging
- Archiving / Backup management
- BASIC desktop support
- Website uploads
- License management
- Social Media management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Studio Manager position working in a creative or production setting
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Previous experience in Xero software desirable
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivation with the ability to take initiative, prioritise and work independently
- Can do attitude and the ability to think laterally to solve problems
- Any previous history with Synology servers would be an advantage
- Cable management skills desirable but not essential
