This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our growing Group Interaction Design. We are just kicking off a small interdisciplinary team of Designers and Developers pushing to change the way customers interact with the companies products and services, as well as conducting research and development on emerging interaction paradigms, evolving the products and creative vision, and keeping the company at the cutting-edge of graphics technology. We’re looking for an impact that goes beyond our footprint, we want to help invent the companies future, and we want to communicate the value of our technologies and products.

You will:

Working closely with the wider Group Product team and the Director of Group Interaction Design, your goal is to support the team in prototyping, researching, ideating and developing innovative solutions that enhance the digital experiences we create

• Initiate, define, ideate and prototype solutions to push our products into the future.
• Develop prototypes to validate design ideas and iterate quickly.
• Develop internal tools to increase productivity.

• Develop for production hardware and software.
• Collaborate with other Designers and Developers to push the company to the cutting-edge of computer graphics including generative and procedural design and shaders.
• Collaborate with other team members inside the Interaction Design team to explore and research new interaction paradigms.
• Stay abreast of the evolving media, technology and design landscape including the emergence of new standards, protocols and devices to create world-class product experiences.
• Own your role, push technology, challenge established thinking, and discover new ways of approaching problems in a scrappy environment.
• Proactively participate in defining and maintaining team standards and best practices.
• Hack things together and have fun!

You’ll have:

• Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of javascript language, including frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.
• Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and related tech stacks like Post-CSS.
• Experience with generative and procedural design, 3D graphics APIs (three.js or similar), WebGL, Shaders.
• Strong foundation within front End development with a good understanding of interface and user experience design.
• Understanding of design tools like Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite in front-end technologies is a bonus.
• Experience working with Designers and Developers.
• Passion for emerging technologies and their application to complex problems.
• Computer Science or Digital Media Design background preferred.
