Interaction Designer

INTERACTION DESIGNER | £400-£430 per day, start 02/04

My client are looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join a talented team working on a new and exciting project.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team building a new web-based product, where you will be responsible for user interaction design and the creation of prototypes for user testing.

Main Responsibilities

• Understand user needs and how to design services that meet them
• Design user-centred interfaces and transaction flows
• Create and iterate prototypes to test and communicate ideas
• Work with user researchers and front-end developers to turn concepts into user-centred services
• Ensure that the design of services is consistent

Skills and Experience

• User Interaction Design
• Sketch on paper and build working prototypes (ideally in HTML/CSS)
• UX Design best practices to design solutions, and a strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• Know how to utilise and interpret user research
• Experience of updating visual designs based on feedback
