Junior UI Designer | Agency | Central London

I’m currently working with a new London based product innovation lab, founded by two highly motivated brothers with different points of view. Fueled by entrepreneurship and an appetite for risk-taking, they have an ambitious vision to contribute to the development of human progress using digital technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design visuals for web and app projects.
• Produce assets such as logos and images.
• Support on the creation of marketing and business development material.
• Confidently use Sketch and Photoshop. Understanding of Illustrator and InDesign is a bonus.
• You will have creative flair and eye for detail.
• You are interested in learning from your team mates and growing your skills in UI/UX.

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years’ experience working in a similar role
• The ability to identify user and business goals through UX techniques and practices such as User Flows User Personas and low-fidelity wireframing.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, productive and the ability to show initiative.
• Good familiarity with prototyping tools with a preference for Sketch is essential.
• Strong focus on user experience showing user empathy and understanding.
• Strong communication skills demonstrating design rational and general presentation.
• The ability to document UX design and functionality for all parties, particularly development teams.
• Awareness of current application/ product patterns and trends.
• Familiar with the UX – UI development process, practices and tools.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Flexible working position, with around half of the week being spent on site in either Shoreditch or Covent Garden
• Ideal candidates will have experience working in a similar role preferably at a start-up, or as part of a small team
