Lead Product Designer (UX/UI) – Fintech – Up to £90k + Bonus

My client are looking for a talented and versatile designer to lead the design function across the business and also working on a brand new incredibly complex product. This responsibility will focus on designing web-based software products but also span all aspects of design across the parent group.

The software products built by the company are multi-faceted and complex, requiring a strong attention to design to ensure usability. In particular, they involve hundreds of numerical inputs and thousands of numerical outputs due to the complexity of commercial aircraft and related financial structures (including billion dollar ABS transactions). You will work in partnership with experienced web developers, quantitative developers and finance experts to create exceptional applications, incorporating sophisticated analysis and interactive data visualizations.

As part of the group, you will work closely with some of the most experienced professionals in the aviation finance industry, understanding business needs and designing solutions which will transform the industry.

Requirements:

• Experience designing complex web applications, both from UI, UX and product perspective.
• Expertise in creating both low fidelity and high fidelity wireframes.
• Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Expertise manipulating images and designing custom graphics (like icons), e.g. using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience designing data visualizations.
• Experience in researching and understanding complex businesses and creating innovative product ideas.
• Numerical aptitude and experience working with complex number-centric applications, in particular financial application design.
• Portfolio of past work demonstrating aptitude for exceptional design and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and an outgoing, proactive attitude.
