Lead Product Designer – UX / UI – Up to £80,000 + Shares!

My client are on a mission to supercharge financial decision-making and have a positive impact on millions of people’s lives. They are democratising access to the most valuable service in personal finance: independent financial advice. My client’s app will provide people with a holistic, adaptive, independent personalised financial plan, with specific recommendations to take away the stress and guilt associated with big financial decisions and give them the best chance of achieving their life goals.

My client are working with designers and behavioural scientists to provide plans in a beautiful, visual interface making the experience both engaging and delightful. They are backed by some of the top VCs and angel investors around, are the first company to gain FCA approval and are growing rapidly.

They are now looking for a seasoned and empathetic problem-solver, with tons of experience in digital product design, to drive product to product-market fit within the next year through insanely great user experience design and customer obsession.

What are we looking for?

• A proven background of designing great experiences for customers on iOS and Android, and resolving all of the difficult design questions that came up.
• Great attention to detail across everything that you do.
• An ability to balance solving complex problems with fast tactical changes.
• Comfort with using data within your design approach.
• Good at operating outside of your comfort zone and dealing with ambiguity.
• You’re deeply connected to your users. You obsess over their problems and are committed to finding solutions for them.
• You’re comfortable designing and carrying out product testing using a range of user research methodologies, and recognising how to use these effectively in the product creation process.
• You understand the importance of building user trust and inclusivity into the experiences you design and advocate for this at every opportunity.
• Your design instinct goes beyond the ideal user journey: for every great feature you design, you’re thinking about empty data sets, error states, and logged out views.
• You’ll work with our experienced teams across product, development, and design so you should be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment
• If you are good at AE or any other motion design tool we’ll love you even more.
• You are good at producing production ready design assets for developers and working with them to overcome any implementation issues that arise
• You should have a structured approach to experience design, and a solid process underpinning your work.
