Principal Product Designer

A unique opportunity for a Senior/Lead Designer to work across interactive displays and devices and to help develop user-centred design principles in an international leisure electronics business.

The sorts of things you’ll be working on:

· Navigation systems for leisure boats and yachts, from kayaks to super yachts

· Digital displays and interfaces

· Mobile apps and web services

· Ship computers

· UI and defining the design ecosystem

· Chart apps and charts, overlaid with user-inputted navigation info, restaurants, tips and local amenities

· Developing the machine vision and AI technology to build and improve the product suite

· Connected devices and user input from tens of thousands

· Getting under the skin of problems

What we’re looking for:

· Mobile design experience

· Defining a problem then coming up with solutions

· Whole ecosystem consideration in your designs

· Experience working on systems used in industrial or real-life physical experiences such as kiosks, interactive displays, service design or leisure

This role is based in Hampshire, ideally with a few days a week in the office, but the company is open to applicants who may need a more flexible work pattern.
