If you’re a Lead Designer that is immersed and experience in the world of digital product and want to work on innovative technology that helps people, charities and businesses connect with causes they care about this may be the role for you!

We are looking for a strategic and practical leader with an exceptional Product Design background.

You should be prepared to lead from the front whilst getting hands-on and fully involved with creative workshops, collaborative ideation and end-to-end product design.

You will be someone that consistently demonstrates best design practice, and strives for excellence in user experience, while being tuned into business objectives and spotting growth opportunities.

Oh, and a passion for social good is essential!

A bit more on what you’ll be getting up to day to day:

• Building on design team culture of empowerment for team members within clear guiding principles
• Creating a structure and framework where people know what they need to do to grow and progress.
• Hands on design as required will help to prove out the points by way of example
• Listening and managing individual team members career development
• Coaching and enabling product designers both in project detail and on a higher level to help them improve their craft in all aspects of design
• Assigning work to team members as needed to ensure workflows are managed well and team has harmonious balance
• Operational strategy to optimise the design team’s organisation effectiveness – This will involve strong collaboration within product, but also with Tech and Marketing
• Ultimate responsibility for the quality of the experience within the design system
• Circulating and (where useful) delegating sharing for information from core operations teams such as finance, HR, IT, and facilities
