Key responsibilities:

You will be involved from the initial research and discovery stages through to ultimately shipping the product in an agile environment. Throughout this process, you will play a key role in contributing to the overall product goal.

  • Uncover customer insights from both qualitative and quantitative research to put the customer at the centre of your work, and ensure their voice is heard in the product design process
  • Engage others in your design thinking and process by organising and facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions to bring cross-functional teams together
  • Focus on all levels of detail to create engaging experiences by building customer journey maps, detailed interaction designs and micro-interactions that support the product vision
  • Create stunning interfaces for web and mobile that support customer needs and bring the brand to life.
  • Prototype ideas for user research and communicating with colleagues.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships inside and outside of the UX Team.
  • Work with and contribute to our design system to ensure coherent and accessible experiences.

Skills and capabilities:

  • Experience designing and shipping end-to-end experiences across native app and responsive web that are used by a wide range of end users
  • Creating site structures and navigation for experiences that flow seamlessly
  • Define the interaction design for an experience that takes into consideration the business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility, for the best outcome.
  • Visual design for interfaces and interactions across platforms, with good understanding of how colour, iconography, typography, movement and space all come together to create a brand feel and experience that is accessible, compelling and supports customers.
  • Good collaboration skills both verbal and written
  • Open to learning and hearing feedback on your work and own growth
