6-Month Contract Senior Product Designer job in London

As I am working with a Telecommunications company who are looking for a freelance Senior Product Designer to help them refine and build world class customer UX / UI designs that support their product road-map that solve real customer problems on a global scale.

What awesome things are they looking for?:

• Responsible for product and customer designs from ideation stage, discovery, technology and product functionality and features.
• Work with product managers / owners to support ongoing UX / UI designs throughout to qualify and refine customer solutions.
• Follow lean MVP experimental work
• Champion all areas of user centred design, including product design, content design, content editing, user research, service design, search engine optimisation and accessibility
• Set the design strategy within your area of responsibility using qualitative and quantitative data, as well as thoughtful experimentation
• Design proposals and compelling narratives to key stakeholders around customer problems and the business initiatives to meet those challenges
• Lead the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to improve the design team processes
• Work closely every day with a multi skilled team of product managers, designers, and technical product owners
• Track and monitor your products performance and functionality after launch to iterate and improve on them
• Work in ways that suits you best within your team – enjoy flexibility in how you work. It’s all about your impact on the mission
• They need someone who can do UX/UI blend – a bit of each, you are not doing long in-depth projects, but more quick designs, good quality but rough around the edges – mock up an app and comfortable being rough around the edges
• Designer could help shape the Design System
• Come into their Aldgate in London office 2/3 days a week, the rest of the working weekdays are remote
