Senior Product Designer


Greater London Permanent £60000.00 - £70000.00 per annum

My client is a large online service platform for law based enquiries with a mission to offer the masses affordable legal services. They are looking for a Senior Product designer to join them on a permanent basis at their London HQ based in Shoreditch.

Currently in a unique position, my client is in the process of expanding its current product offering and as a result, this is an amazing opportunity for a keen and key UI/UX player to join a company with growth prospects. The ideal candidate thrives on challenges and will also love the idea of joining a project in its early stages with the intention of growing it into something of their own.

The role

– You will be part of a multi-disciplinary design team where you will be responsible for crafting the future of our products.
– Your day-to-day will involve a mixture of research and design practice; as a result you will be adaptable with the ability to switch between practical work and research based tasks.
– You will be fearless and have a strong conviction as you will lead the cross-functional team through hands-on product design ideation sessions.
– You will be a team player, working closely alongside the product manager to shape and innovate experiences.

Must haves

– Working experience and examples of storyboards, wireframes and high-fidelity mockups/prototypes of simple, engaging experiences that meet clear project goals and milestones.
– Pitch and presentation experience. This will be a key part of your role so confidence and experience here is key.
– Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, Webflow, or whatever tools you prefer to get the job done
– Strong aptitude for giving and taking direction
– Experience designing for responsive web and native mobile applications *
– A User Centred approach to design

Nice to haves

– Intermediate knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3 is preferential, at the very least you will have experience communicating ideas and visions to a team of developers.
– Experience developing consumer or commercial web application interfaces.
– Experience managing other designers either as a mentor or direct report
