Senior Service Designer for a mixture of Government and Commercial Projects

A long-standing client of ours, a Service and Experience Design consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Service Designer to join their team to work on a mix of government and commercial projects.

Your work could include:

• Designing and improving public services for vulnerable user groups, taking into account the real world and digital considerations in services like health, probation and social care
• Overhauling recruiting for large organisations using research and user feedback, as well as conducting heuristic reviews into complex systems and presenting options to stakeholders
• Working out how a prestigious luxury retailer can make the most of their online brand and flagship store spaces in a way that they compliment each other, by researching and observing retail habits and behaviours of user groups

Who we’re looking for:

• Someone with service design experience, whether as a Service Designer, or having completed service design projects as part of a user-centred design positions
• Great communicator who can justify decisions and also bring empathy and intelligence to their interactions with users and colleagues
• A team player who can take on ambiguous briefs and help make sense of them
