Senior UX Designer

Senior UX Designer | £50,000-60,000 | Central London

My client is a small yet powerful software developer currently disrupting the tech scene. They are looking for a solid Mid – Senior level UX designer with 3-5yrs experience in a product team or similar environment. The perfect candidate is one that relies on data to drive their decisions, you’ll have a proactive nature and desire to solve and complex problems for FTSE 1000 companies. You’ll be an advocate for design, testing, learning and iterating, you’ll also be comfortable with being a key player and your portfolio will be able to demonstrate this.

Key Responsibilities
– Working as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers in a dual-track Scrum workflow
– Be a direct contact with client within the context of the product design process, such as leading workshops and design reviews
– Validating design ideas through primary and secondary research. You’ll also be expected to carry out this research and report back to the main stakeholders
– Design storyboards, wireframes and high-fidelity mockups/prototypes of simple, engaging experiences that meet clear project goals and milestones
– Deliver detailed, pixel perfect assets and specs to our front-end developers

Requirements
– 3 to 5 years of UX and/or UI design experience working with digital products
– Proficient with Sketch and InVision, and ability to evaluate and choose the right tools for the job
– Experience working in an Agile environment
– Experience developing and executing user testing initiatives a plus
– Strong aptitude for giving and taking direction

SALARY: £50,000-60,000
