Senior UX Manager – FX Trading Platform – Up to £140,000!

My client are a well respected Capital Investment Firm based in the City of London. They’re currently looking for a Senior UX Manager to help them create and lead a team of product designers to deliver market leading proprietary trading applications across mobile and web.

This role required hands-on design skills and is responsible to develop and optimize onboarding and trading journeys across all touch points for the companies brands globally.

Experience leading a Mobile Focused team is vital, as is experience working directly on the development and delivery of trading platforms. My client requires some exposure and experience working with FX Trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a team of Midweight and Junior Designers across multiple offices.
• Facilitate the creation of a product vision by researching, prototyping and user-testing E2E experiences – Liaising with the propositions teams, product and CX journey managers.
• Lead the creation of MVP solutions with other Product Designers, CX managers and Product Owners.
• Collating, contributing, and communicating insights to the business and stakeholders.
• Providing design specifications, using Zeplin and use other relevant tools such as Jira.
• Taking part in relevant team planning and stand up meetings.

You’ll have experience working in large companies and be able to adhere to and proactively enhance the firm’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations and codes of conduct in all jurisdictions in which the firm conducts business and which have an impact on its business.

Experience Required

• Experience running a team of UX/UI Designers with a focus on Mobile first delivery.
• Proven ability to lead End-to-end Product Design, taking a project from inception to completion. (Running workshops, Wireframes, Prototyping, user interviews, visual design and working with developers to meet goals).
• Experience managing freelancers and agencies
• A portfolio of work with examples of interaction and visual design – we are looking for a portfolio that reflects a wide range of skills (workshop/design thinking, wireframes, prototypes, visual design, research and testing) with case studies to demonstrate your participation in each project.
• Experience using Apple HUI and Google Material guidelines.
