UI Designer

UI designer | Creative Agency | London | Up to £50,000 p/a

My client is one of London’s leading Creative agencies, with a focus on branding and digital design for their clients, who come from every corner of the globe. They’re a huge player within this space and have plans to expand their existing design team to accommodate an influx in new business.

They’re looking for a confident, senior UI designer to not just bolster an incredible design team, but push forward their creative vision across the digital space; someone with who can innovate and deliver intelligently and independently as well as work as part of a broader team. Ideally this Designer will have been immersed in the digital world for the best part of their design career, and be looking to dive even deeper in as they grow within the role.

If you’re a true specialist, who can bring a brand to life across digital platforms – using outstanding design skills, as well as a modern understanding of interaction and the relation between user and product – then this role is for you!

About you

• You’re a Senior Designer with experience working with both in-house and agency teams
• You’ll have experience working in both Branding, as well as Digital & UI Design.
• You’ll be fluent in the Adobe CC (they use Sketch, so naturally Sketch is a must!)
• You’ll have some prototyping experience, and know how to use programs like Principle & Marvel
• Experience working with multiple teams, including remote teams from all over the globe.
• You’ll be comfortable in a client facing position, and be able to justify your creative ideas.
• Client facing – able to communicate effectively up to board level in the client organisation – this agency encourages going way beyond client briefs and guidelines so this is essential!

Core responsibilities & skills

• Sharing your knowledge and techniques to enhance the teams digital design output.
• Applying user centred design methodologies to the design and content structure of digital applications (web, experiential, installations etc.)
• Deliver high-quality design deliverables including sketches, scamps, page layouts, component design
• Cultivate and create concepts for new pitches, campaigns, and strategies.
• Manage and oversee all design deliverables, promoting excellence and creative standards.
• Mentor and support design juniors within the team by sharing digital expertise

Salary: £45,000-50,000 DOE
