User experience Designer -contract- Dayrate

I’m incredibly excited to be working with a Global Mobility solutions group who are looking to further integrate their products and services across various platforms both their mobile and web front. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world’s leading brands, working with an incredibly talented design team across research, UX and UI design. They are currently kicking off a number of brand new, greenfield projects with huge scope to make a massive impact in the continued growth and success of the firm. This would be a 6 month contract which is very likely to extend

Your day to day responsibilities will revolve around the following:

• Define seamless user experiences that achieve the goals of the project, provide value to customers and meet business objectives.
• Engage with our user insights and testing programme, facilitate workshops to explore options, map as-is and to-be customer journeys, explore personas and create user flows.
• Build and implement all UX processes and prepare associated documentation across full UX lifecycle.
• Create wireframes and lead rapid prototyping activity.
• Develop final visual designs for use in the app.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a joined-up approach to the customer journey.
• Work closely with the wider project team to ensure priorities are agreed and deadlines met.
• Coordinate with representatives from teams including Technology, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Strategy, Customer Services, Fleet, Operations, and Brand to ensure project success.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in UX and digital design with consumer facing, high-volume transactional sites/apps.
• Must have been responsible for mobile apps.
• Familiar with Agile development. Commercially focused and highly driven to meet targets with a meticulous approach to work.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for the mobile apps.
• Creation and management of prototypes and wireframes.
• Exceptional graphic design skills, production value and attention to detail.
• Experience with latest software including Sketch and Invision
• Knowledge of agile methodologies
