Are you looking for a fresh challenge? Our client is a leading online retailer with numerous operations both in the UK. This is an ideal opportunity for a UX specialist to grow and develop their skills with a dynamic brand. We are now recruiting for a UX Designer for a role based in Bristol

Key Requirements

• You are a user experience designer that has experience in the e-commerce/retail space or a similar field
• You understand what it takes to take a complex structure and create a simplified solution
• You will have relevant commercial experience, and are used to working within open plan design and development teams
• Excellent design skills (layout, typography, colour)
• Experience in mentoring and coaching less experienced team members
• Has worked collaboratively with other teams
• Ideally you will have worked on enterprise and native applications
• You can work with people at all levels and can communicate your ideas and behavioural patterns to multi-channel teams clearly and effectively
• Comfortable presenting to larger audiences and senior stakeholders
• Comprehensive understanding of UX design principles
• Ability to create prototypes in code (Bootstrap, HTML, CSS etc.)
• Ability to take ownership, creatively solve problems, and pro-actively secure the
• objectives of the business
• Work collaboratively with visual designers, content managers, product managers, software developers, testers, architects, content manager and marketing colleagues to help define and implement end-to-end user experiences that deliver tangible business results
• Create user-centric concepts, prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups and UI visuals to explore potential solutions
• Experience in shipping consumer products
• Experience of user centered design principles & working in agile development teams
• Experience of working in agile development teams
• Ability to create rapid prototypes to prove or disprove your hypothesis.
• Experience running or at least observing UX insight activities such as user research, ideation sessions, usability testing, stakeholder interviews
