This awesome start-up is targeting sustainability across several sectors. They are in their early stage of building out the platform are building scientific tech in an IOT solution to a cloud platform. They have been in existent for 2 years and are growing rapidly.
An extremely exciting stage to be part of a journey from right at the beginning and seeing it grow, so what type of brownie points are they looking at for this mid-weight UX/ UI designer to join their team?
- They are looking for a mid-weight UX/ UI Designer to join for a 12-month fix term contract between £30-£40k
- Starting as soon as possible
- 50/ 50 split of UX to UI
- Extremely independent who can hit the ground running
- Solid B2C work in their portfolio
- Reporting into Head of Product
- Very confident in talking to Senior Stakeholders
- Position the awkward questions in the UX interviewing well so the questions don’t sound thoughtless, but more consultative – making you get the best out of your research
- Use analytic data + first-hand research to understand user behaviours
- Huge potential to climb the ranks as you will be one of the very few designers there so will have a lot of say in your design approach
The essentials:
- UX + UI design for websites
- Adobe Creative Suite, Figma + Envision Studio
- Understanding of design principles and systems, e.g. Google Material Design
- Writing clear + concise copy
If you have this, then amazing, but not essential:
- Simple knowledge of HTML + CSS for exporting assets
- Simple knowledge of animation, especially .svg animation for User Interface
