UX/UI Designer – Disruptive Startup – Up to £50k!

My client are an incredibly exciting, disruptive mobile startup. They are financially backed by a huge global tech leader – so they are here to stay!

They have recently launched their first mobile product & already attracted over 500,000 customers – their aim is to change the game! – My client are looking for somebody who can help tackle the challenges associated with growing a business at an incredible rate and play a part in building something from scratch. They want to make their customers feel valued and make their lives as simple as possible – no fuss!

My client are looking for a talented and ambitious UI/UX Designer to create amazing user experiences and premium visual designs for all of of their digital channels. The ideal candidate should be able to create pixel perfect responsive designs, and work with UX and development teams to create customer centric designs.

Requirements:

• UI and UX Design work for all digital channels including website, app and My Account
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows.
• Great design skills, production value and attention to detail
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and UX architects.
• Create pixel prefect visual designs for hand-off to development teams
• Understanding of user needs and the needs of the business
• Support user research and evaluate user feedback with design work and practices
• Use and help develop design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Understand importance of user testing and A/B testing
• UI testing in test environments
• Create and maintain brand identity systems including logos and style guides

Technical Requirements

• Proven UI experience including mobile design (responsive and apps)
• Experience in creating pixel perfect designs from wireframes, storyboards. Using brand guidelines and UI guidelines
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, OmniGraffle (advantageous) or any other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript advantageous but not a necessity
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to customer/user experience practices
• Great communication skill and the ability to interact with marketing and product teams, as well as the wider design and development team(s)
• Present ideas effectively and consistently leverage design feedback from clients and stakeholders
• Creative and effective
• Passion about new technology and latest trends in UX and UI.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
