As a Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist you would be a part of the Digital Growth Team working to build and grow this organisations function. You will be focused on new customer acquisition and in this role you will be the bridge between the web vertical (paid acquisition) and the contextual team (unpaid acquisition). Technically they operate using the GA suite doing the ground work, event tagging, in depth analytics with an element of journey optimisation.

This role is NOT for experienced, senior candidates. The CRO function is still in its early developments therefore they are looking for an individual that would be able to grow and develop with the function.

The team is looking to hire someone with potential – not necessarily the finished article. You would need to be able to fit into a fast paced culture with the ability to be fluid and agile, able to adapt to changes in priorities, dealing with ambiguity, taking the lead on tasks, and being proactive in your approach. Naturally you should have a inquisitive mind with a creative approach to analytics.

Experience & skills required:

• You’ll know or be willing to learn Markdown and YAML to make website content updates
• Managing multiple projects at a time
• Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio and Google Optimize (or similar tools)
• Track record of running A/B test campaigns
• Knowledge of UX and UI
• You have strong numeracy and analytical skills with an ability to analyse and draw insights from large data sets
• Experienced at producing robust analysis in a tools such as excel/google sheets with strong skills in interpreting and articulating the key findings from data analysis
• Experience in writing converting web copy
• You have good verbal and written communication skills
• You have a flexible, approachable attitude with good problem solving skills
• You have the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Looker is a bonus but not essential
